Job Description:
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care, guidance, and support to children in a residential setting. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow and develop. Key responsibilities include:
– Building positive relationships with children and young people
– Supporting daily activities such as meals, schoolwork, and recreational activities
– Encouraging social and emotional development
– Ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of each child
– Working collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– A compassionate and patient approach
– NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People is desirable but not essential
