Job Description:
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care, guidance, and support to children in a residential setting. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow and develop. Key responsibilities include:
- Building positive relationships with children and young people
- Supporting daily activities such as meals, schoolwork, and recreational activities
- Encouraging social and emotional development
- Ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of each child
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A compassionate and patient approach
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People is desirable but not essential
