Senior Social Worker

Salary: £37,000 - £40,000

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of social workers to provide top-quality care and support to vulnerable individuals and families.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and mentor a team of social workers

- Assess the needs of clients and develop care plans

- Provide support and guidance to individuals and families

- Collaborate with other professionals and organisations to ensure comprehensive care

- Keep detailed and accurate records of cases

- Stay up-to-date with social work best practices and regulations

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work

- Social Work England registration

- Previous experience in a senior social worker role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions

- Knowledge of relevant laws and policies in the social work field
